Premier Sport is THE market leader, teaching over 2000 events every week (that’s over 125,000 children).
The company was founded in 1999 by David Batch, filling a gap in the market for high quality, branded sports provision for local children, parents and schools.
Premier embarked on a franchising strategy within its first year, acquiring it’s first competitor in 2002.
Since then, the number of franchised territories has risen to over 80, with a significant rise since 2007 (up from 27), and more current applications for franchises than ever before.
Premier Sport is the first ever commercial organisation in the market place to gain ‘QiSS’ status (Quality in Study Support) for excellence.

Premier Sport is now the largest employer in sports ‘Joined up bid’ for the Future Jobs Fund, administered by the National Skills Academy, currently on course to employ 200 recruits in 2010.
